BUSF Guatemala and BUSF Nicaragua provided an immediate response following the devastating impact of the two hurricanes. After supporting evacuation efforts, their main intervention focused on supplying safe drinking water to the communities most affected by the heavy rains.

BUSF Guatemala and BUSF Nicaragua provided an initial response in coordination with each country’s national emergency systems. BUSF Spain supported the effort with funding for the donation of food, medicine, and other aid to thousands of affected families.
